The Ei208DW/Ei208DWRF Carbon Monoxide Alarm is supplied with a powered-for-life sealed Lithium battery. It contains a high performance, proven 10 year electrochemical CO sensor to detect the presence of toxic levels of Carbon Monoxide (CO). Each sensor is individually calibrated and tested in Carbon Monoxide gas to ensure accuracy.
The LCD displays the level of CO in ppm, faults, status and recommended actions. The level of CO will start flashing on the LCD display as soon as the Alarm detects 10ppm. CO levels are displayed in 5ppm intervals.
When the Alarm detects potentially dangerous levels of CO, the red LED flashes and if the CO persists the alarm will sound. The higher the level of CO detected, the sooner the alarm will sound.
The AudioLINK feature available in the Ei208DW/Ei208DWRF facilitates acoustic download of the Alarm parameters and status using the Ei Electronics AudioLINK app.
The Ei208DW may be interconnected wirelessly with the RadioLINK+ module Ei200MRF (sold separately or included in the Ei208DWRF) to communicate with compatible Ei Alarms and accessories. Up to 12 RF devices can be interconnected.
The Alarm self-checks its sensor, battery voltage and internal circuitry regularly. Any fault condition will be indicated by a combination of visual and audible indicators (ie yellow flashes and beeps). The Alarm also has an “End of Life” indicator (audible and visual) which will notify the user when the Alarm needs replacing at the end of its 10 year operational life.
The memory feature allows an Alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified (as the red LED will continue to flash for 24hrs after the event or afterwards when you press the Test button).
The Alarm is supplied with a twist-on mounting base which as multiple fixing points so it can be easily secured to a ceiling or wall. Free standing install is also possible.
