The Ei261ENRC Carbon Monoxide Alarm is fitted with a high performance, proven 10 year electrochemical sensor to detect the presence of toxic levels of Carbon Monoxide (CO). Each sensor is individually calibrated and tested in Carbon Monoxide gas to ensure accuracy. It is powered by 230V AC with a rechargeable 10 year built in battery backup supply to ensure continuous operation (up to 4 weeks) in the event of a power failure.
The Alarm is supplied with the "Easi-fit" base to facilitate quick and simple installation, combined with easy detector head removal and replacement. The Easi-fit base automatically connects both mains power and battery as the detector head slides on.
When the Alarm detects potentially dangerous levels of CO, the red LED flashes and if the CO persists the alarm will sound. The rate of flashing of the red LED indicates the level of CO. The higher the level of CO detected, the sooner the alarm will sound.
The AudioLINK feature facilitates acoustic download of the Alarm parameters and status using the Ei Electronics AudioLINK app.
The Ei261ENRC may operate as a standalone Alarm or may be interconnected via hardwire to communicate with compatible Ei Electronics Alarms and accessories. Up to 12 devices can be interconnected.
The Alarm self-checks its sensor, battery voltage and internal circuitry regularly. Any fault condition will be indicated by a combination of visual and/or audible indicators (ie yellow flashes and beeps). The Alarm also has an “End of Life” indicator (audible and visual) which will notify the user when the Alarm needs replacing at the end of its 10 year operational life.
The memory feature allows an Alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified (as the red LED will continue to flash for 24hrs after the event or afterwards when you press the Test button).
The Test/Silence button allows the user to check the operation of the Alarm. This will check the sounder, battery voltage, sensor and internal circuitry.
